Today Inspired Word Cafe held their Zine making Workshop at the University campus. We decided to all work with the theme of Land. As a class we offered some words describing the Syilx territory we are situated on, and students and artists worked either individually or in teams. Assistant Professor Matt Rader provided an exercise of prompts and inspiration to those who were interested in brainstorming some ideas before diving in. Despite the thunderstorm there was a great turnout!
